Felicia

Felicia hails from sunny California and grew up with her mom (Karen), dad (Jesus), two sisters and two brothers. She comes to the marriage with two awesome teens, Christian and Sarah, their dogs Zumah and London, and rabbit Bunny. She's the founding fashion designer of C&S Collection and LoveTheory. For fun, she's into geeking out with John about podcasts, design, music, being a super foodie, reading, golf, spa days, travel, hiking, and culinary arts

John

John hails from Indiana and grew up with his mom (Angela), grandma (Clara), dad (Ken), and three sisters (Amber, Jade, and Shelley) in Japan, NC, Indiana and Italy. He comes to the marriage with two amazing kiddos, Aia and Theo. He's art director at Google, has designed shoes for Nike, and the founding designer of YouTube TV. For fun, he's into geeking out with Felicia about podcasts, design, foodie life, travel, archery, Rocket League, karaoke, trivia, basketball, and board games

Details

We cannot wait to share this love-filled evening with you! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner reception will be held at charming facets of Villa Montalvo. For those flying in the closest airport is San Jose International Airport (SJC), however, two other great nearby options are San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK).

Parking is at the p3 & p4 lots. It's one way so you will have to go around the villa and re-enter if you miss the parking lot.

The following details what to expect from the wedding...

CEREMONY · 4PM

The main ceremony will be held at the Love Temple. Felicia and John will exchange vows and make their new lives together officially

COCKTAIL HOUR · 5PM

After the ceremony, whisk away into a lovely cocktail hour at the Spanish courtyard & Oval Lawn (behind the Veranda). Cocktails, mocktails, boba tea, and a medley of tasty hors-d'œuvre accompanied by a photo booth, and lawn games activities

RECEPTION · 6:30-10:30PM

Then we land in the Veranda for a magical French dining experience with some of our favorite tastes and textures

ACCOMMODATION

THEIR FIRST DATE

After meeting and having their magical first convos during John's birthday (the best present ever), Felicia and John had their first official date a couple of days later. John came with a surprise lunch in a picnic basket, crafted around dishes and drinks he learned Felicia was into. They boarded a small yacht with the basket and sailed around the Bay, sharing some amazing first moments and conversations. Afterwards, Felicia stole his heart with her pure grace and sweetness, pulling him aside into a nearby garden and sharing her botany favorites, as he took mental notes for the wedding, knowing immediately that she's the one.

THEIR FIRST TRIP

Felicia and John's first trip was originally supposed to be a foodie binge trip to New Orleans to have some of their favorite dishes and see Dave Chappelle. However, due to hurricane, the couple switched gears and flew a 3 person plane (terrifying) from Nevada to the peaceful Amangiri resort in Utah and enjoyed a desert vacation and adventure in Antelope Canyon

MEETING THE KIDS

John had the pleasure first of meeting Felicia's amazing kiddos, Sarah and Christian, during a joint outing to see the premiere of Shang-Chi. After they hung a bit and grabbed burgers. Shortly after, Felicia arrived to meet John's kiddos, Aia and Theo, wearing one of Theo's favorite Marvel characters, Wanda the Scarlet Witch and he was ecstatic. Afterwards, they all went for ice cream and to a local pumpkin patch

THE PROPOSAL

John took Felicia and her kids on a week long birthday trip for her to Paris and Venice. On the second day of the trip as the group alongside John's friends Peter and Lauren arrived to a croissant making class, John asked Felicia to slip away briefly to check out a nearby art display around the corner. This "art display" turned out to be a setting he and his engagement planner arranged at Arc de Triomphe, complete with violinist, roses, and the a background view of the Eiffel Tower in a haze of fog. The surprise was delivered with success, the ambience was magical, the love was mutual, and she said "oui"

BLENDING FAMILIES

A few weeks later, Felicia and John purchased a house and moved in together, blending their new family of 4 combined kiddos, two dogs, a cat and a bunny into an enchanting new home together. It's been a simply fascinating how their love for each other has quickly blossoming into something that feels like a fairy tale.
